ホテル ヴィラ キャルロッタ - フィレンツェ

レンタカーでの旅だったので、ホテル内に無料駐車場があるのが良かったです。（小さいけど） 部屋に無料Wi- Fiがあるのも選んだ決めてでしたが、問題なく繋がりました。 部屋も広めで、ゆっくりできました。 スタッフは良い人が多かったですが、四つ星ならもうワンランク上の接客を期待しました。 Ponte Vecchioまで歩いて20分、空港への車での道もそこまでややこしくなく、私には快適なロケーションでした。

チェントロからは少し離れているので、暗くなってからの周辺の治安などは分かりません。 朝食が7時15分からと、早朝のフライトの人には遅すぎるかも- しれません。朝食の内容は最低限のものしかなく、物足りないと感じる人もいるかもしれません。

nice building, nice rooms, locations is nice, just 1.5 km from the centre, it is a very green area, nice break.

The staff at the Hotel Villa Carlotta was extremely helpful and courteous. My room was larger than expected and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of the city which makes it very relaxing.

We decided to go for a last minute road trip last long weekend and we were looking for 3 main aspects in a hotel: good price due to the lack of ahead planning (we booked just 2 days before!!), wirh parking for our car and that would allow pets since we had our little dog traveling with us. Hotel Villa Carlotta filled these critereas, being only 15 minutes walk away from the city center, which we dont mind at all to do, so we decided to give it a try. The hotel is easy to find, in a very nice neighbourhood and only a short walk away frm the city, that can be done in the street or through the beautiful Boboli garden park. Room was nice and clean, reception was very nice and helpful, breakfast was included and simply nice (I dont fancy big american breakfasts with eggs and sausages and all the works.). We did not try their restaurant for dinner though. The best for me was to have bikes available at the hotel for free, we had 2 great bike tour days due to the easyness of having the bikes already there, ready to go in the morning till the night. :) I would definetely come back there, it was a great trip and the hotel was a good part of it. And i would recommend it to anybody looking for a good price deal.

The location is perfect near the park and 15 minutes by foot from the heart of Florence.Very good and free internet!

1) We didn't like service, we were waiting for 15 minutes for the waiter to order coffee on brekfast. 2) Very poor breakfast. 3) The bathroom faucet and door was broken, so the water always flew on the floor

We enjoyed the fact that it is located in a leafy suburb outside the city walls but still within easy reach of the centre of the city. The breakfast room is very nice and the rooms well appointed. Nice to have an English Language newspaper available at breakfast

The service in the bar was slow and the restaurant food was average. They could make more of the setting by using the ground floor area for dining in the evening.

Some details like rust on radiator could easily be avoided.

Nice comfortable Hotel within walking distance of Florence. Stayed 2 nights here as part of overall touring Holiday in Tuscany. We needed a Hotel near to Florence with car parking facility, and Hotel Villa Carlotta fitted this purpose. Nice friendly staff, clean Hotel with a good breakfast

Very nice villa, excellent & friendly staff, quiet location with easy city access. Easy to park.

Weak hair dryer and our US hair dryer with a converter still blew a fuse.

Room air conditioning very inadequate, did not really work.

The rooms are rather in need for renovation, although nothing suggests works are planned for anytime soon. The villa building still nice (I had stayed at the hotel several years ago) but the rest of the buildings lack charm and in urgent need for refurbishment.

The hotel is near to the city-centre, the breakfast is fine and varied.

Parking on site free of charge. DVD player in the room and offer of films. Good breakfast.

Maybe there are also newer rooms ... but we had no luck. Actually - the room looks exactly like the photo, but the reality is not so nice ... The biggest problem is the smell, which is a combination of the smell of old unventilated space and something like a sewer - maybe the problem is old and uncleaned air conditioning. Also electrical sockets are not all fully functional. Bathroom would also need renewal - faucets no longer have a complete layer of chrome and they show brass. Local restaurants served only on the terrace (and I do not know whether there is any internal space) - the food was good, but the environment and the mood did not match. Finally - the walking distance of the city center is only theoretical - it is better to use public transport from Porta Romana.
